Dear Parents,
Today was your child’s first day of school and I just wanted to write you a letter to let you know how it went. We had a blast! They learned how to line up and go to recess, how we eat snack and lunch, how we sit on the floor for math wall, and just how to be a kindergartener.
Some of you have found some interesting colorful fun things that weren’t on the school supply list. I have sent these things back in their backpacks so they don’t clutter up their desks or get lost. Please keep the extra things at home. We try to keep it simple in school so they can keep their desks clean.
Thank you to the families who brought in the classroom supplies for September. It is going to be a wonderful year.
Thanks, Ms. Hecker
