Homework Information:
Homework is assigned Monday through Thursday (very rarely on Friday)
-Label the top of the page with your first and last name, date, class title (Algebra), problem set number, and list the assigned question numbers
-Number and write your answers along the right hand side of your page after the pink line.
-Show your work
-Use pencil
-Use legible handwriting
-Calculators may only be used if stated in directions or pre-approved by the teacher
*Hint: Each homework problem has a number in parenthesis, this shows which lesson taught the skill needed to solve the problem. Refer back to this lesson for basics and examples.
Texts and Other Resources:
Our main textbook will be Algebra 1 from Saxon. Saxon reviews concepts learned constantly through daily practice. We will use many resources to reinforce what we are learning including CompassLearning's Odyssey and Algebra 1 from Carnegie Learning.
Bring to class every day:
-Binder or folder to keep important papers, homework, and tests
-Loose-leaf lined paper
-Red, green, or purple pen
-Pencils, erasers, and personal pencil sharpener
-KCS Planner/Agenda
-KCS Laptop
-Calculator
