IP Printing vs. USB

95% of the printers in the school run using IP Printing, which means that if the Internet is down, so are the printers. The personal printers in your room are also capable of being hooked to your laptop using the provided USB cable in the case of a network outage.   

Other Printing Information: For general printing use one of the three large printers in the building.  For confidential printing or "emergeny" printing use the printer in your room. For mass copies please print only one copy and use the photocopier in the staff room. 

Airports

The 7 airports around the school are what make our Internet wireless.  Please do not unplug these at any time unless instructed to do so.  If you do unplug one please let me know.  See the basic troubleshooting section for help with your Internet connection.

Network Folders

The teachers and students are assigned network folders.  For help connecting to your folder click here.

Remote Desktop

This program is used by administrators and technology staff to distribute updates, perform computer maintenance, and observe computers.
